Have you the "slot0x25KeyX.bin" on root of your SD cart ?
I believe that file is only for loading 7.x or higher emunand when your sysnand is under 7.x, I don't think it's required for rxTools to install itself successfully.
It would, however, be required to actually boot into an updated emunand, if sysnand is under 7.x

Its very strange. I have tried many tutorials but none of them work. Have installed CakeFW (Launches i think) but when i want to install a cia it also says "Install failed" i think something is strange with my 3ds. :(

Here is a summary of the steps i've tried :

I have tried many tutorials and many rxtools versions.

I have also tried different firmware.bins.

Everytime i try to start rxTools it trys to install the dataSuite but fails on the 3rd Dot.

I have also tryied it with the firm folder but with no luck.

I have no idea what is wrong with my system.

When tried to install CakeFW it worked, but when i boot into FBI and want to install a CIA it also fails.

On the configuration Site of CakeFW i've disabled the Signature Check.

Its very strange how my 3ds reacts to Homebrew.

My Firmware is 9.0.0.20E.

So i've tried several things but with no luck. :(

The only thing i want is to install cias.

Your data base in your SD is corect ?

Last chance : create a new emunand aigain on gateway menu and test...

Or format your console, create a new data base and....

When i format my console, will it upgrade to another Firmware? Because it need an internet connection.

Have you a "firm" folder on "rxTools" folder ?
I have solved this problem with that ;)

yes, firm folder have created with python file and i put it to rxtools folder, and sys folder, and simply root folder.
now its always shows "installation failed".

I will try to format console, and sd card and start the installation again. Hope this helps.

when you format console there is no need an intenet connection.

i also start to think that nintendo have released a few consoles with another functionality, which currently prevents us crack them.
For example my 3ds came to me after one expo. And console desighed for game journalists. Please tell me i'm wrong ^^

I have solved this problem in a 6.1 O3ds and it's not about the firmware bin or the rxtools version. Do you happen to see three black boxes on menu after the "installation data suite failed" error?

Do you have an Emunand created on sd?

If the answer to the two questions is yes, I've solved this error updating sysnand to 9.2. I saw reports of other users with this problem too, and I know some older versions of rxtools work fine, no error whatsoever. So, if this is the case your 3ds is fine and your installation method of rxtools is fine too. I don't know why this happens thought.

Is there any way i can upgrade directly to 9.2? As said the HBL is running.

Yes, you can access rxtools menu if you hold L (or pressing it twice or something with L) in the "installation data suite failed".
In advanced menu you can access pastamode (devmode) sysnand. That should let you do whatever you may need with FBI in hbl. Be careful.

EDIT: With whatever I meant installing sysupdater to update to 9.2 or cubic ninja cia for gateway launcher or hblauncher. You should not install anything more to sysnand. In fact you should not touch sysnand at all if you can avoid it. In your very specific case looks like you can't avoid it. As I said, be careful.

Look the post above yours for the first question. And that's a no for the second one.

yes, i have tried this and i can go to devmode, but i don't understand what to do next. there is no fbi in health&safety.

That should let you do whatever you may need with FBI in hbl.

As I said my 3ds dont have HBL (is it homebrew launcher?)

thank you for helping!

Oh snap. I didn't got you the first time. You'll need to inject FBI into the health and safety app in sysnand. Don't worry, after the 9.2 update health and safety will be back to normal. There's tutorials for this running around.

Make sure you are using the last working rxtools and that you are running sysupdater from pastamode/devmode. An update in sysnand in rxmode (normal rxtools mode) will cause a brick. Make a nand backup before doing anything and after updating correctly. Triple check the update versions (is different for o3ds and n3ds y'know).

A nand backup will help you recover your system from the brick through a hard mod, so it's worth it big time.

i have tried this.
problem with fbi that always been http://screenshot.ru/upload/image/N1zg
In pastamode h&s app works as usually

Probably I need to downgrade fw and install HBL?
