Oh perfect, no cubic needed ?
But are you sure if I install DevMenu on my sysnand, and then I reload my nand to 9.2, the DevMenu won't be deleted?
Would like to know this as well and also how do we go about installing DevMenu/BBM/FBI with this new rxTools version? Do we still have to boot into Emunand to do it?

When the next 3ds firmware update comes out and blocks emunand for Gateway, is it likely that this method will be blocked too? This would mean that we would have to wait for the rxtools.dat to be updated.

I think I'll hold onto my gateway for now just in case.
It really depends if native_firm is updated.

many people don't have a nds flashcard (but still, there is a spider version of rxTools mset somewhere, boy that will take a while to find )

So installing PBT-CFW in 4.5 and then installing RxTool without sign patch in MSET should work, and allow to install any games of any savedata encryption ?

Just going to say this, we have control over OTP registers for O3DS, so it REALLY is unlikely that we will have a problem with emunand loading on O3DS.

Edit : sure, we might have to update the code, but i don't think they can really block firmloader on O3DS at this point

This is very cool! But what benefits do this have over Pasta? I don't care about emunand... If we could inject ps1 games or n64 games I would swap to this :)

I really want to switch, but I have a few questions.

1. If I already run PASTA with a bunch of games and homebrew and gba installed as CIA to the sysnand, will I keep it when switching to this? I don't want to have to redownload them.

2. Is there any way to get mh4u or smash working? Or is that impossible.

And 3. So this can play any games that are 7.x encrypted up to the latest?

They can still add new keys with those one-time-use RSA registers at boot which they used for the 6.x and 7.x keys. Considering the 6.x key has never been dumped they could probably get away with reusing that same method.

1. if you make a new emunand (or if your actuall emunand is linked to sysnand, you can inject the ticket into emunand), then yes
2. yes, they work with the first file in this thread
3. yes, if you have the keyX present on the SD card.

1. You won't lose any installed titles as long as you don't fiddle where you shouldn't.

2. Use the version without GBA/DSi support.

3. Pretty much

EDIT: Haha Ninja'd

fair enough, but i doubt they would bother with O3DS, but that is a possibility

I'm so super scared for a brick so can you explain me how injection works, I mean...

So rxTools.

I have the options:

- Inject EmuNAND partitions.
- Inject NAND files.

I think it's the NAND files one?

So I pressed A, and then I see 2 optionsto select NAND.
sysNAND
emuNAND

I'm so scared so I didn't do anything yet, haven't found a tutorial, can you explain?
