I was once just as enthusiastic about rxTools, but it's time to move on and beyond. ( ͡6 ʖ̯ ͡9)
So true. I remember coming to this site and everyone was like "use Rxtools! It's the sh*t!" like everyone loved it. I wish it had kept it's popularity. I personally loved it when I had it on 9.2 and I never wanted to switch. I guess all good things must come to an end.

Yeah... but hey, ARM9loaderhax friendly CFW (AuReiNAND) + Decrypt9 is a very good replacement.

No, but it is the best :)

It's also the most dangerous part of any installation, especially on the n3ds.

Personally I'm not touching it until the number of bricks that it's causing starts to thin out.

To explain a little more, just delete the files for Rx"tools" and replace it with the files needed for Reinand.

Thanks I actually need to do that myself at some point. I'm currently using rx in my 3dsll although my girlfriend's n3dsll is running reinand.

@hobbledehoy899 You're right. It's really gotten to the point where you could be the stupidest person in the world and still do it as long was you follow directions and can read.

Not saying that the people that have bricked aren't smart b/c it could've been just a small user error that caused it, but I think you understand.

I thought that already happened.

If it has then I haven't seen it. It still seems to be the most frequent cause of any bricks that I've seen on forums like this.

Tbh though I have only been doing this for a few days after finding out that this stuff existed last week but I did a lot of research to be safe before modding both our consoles over the weekend.

So it's not still causing random bricks then even if people are following all of the instructions to the letter? Because some threads on here seem to suggest otherwise.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol

So that version is semi rare
