Hacking Rxtools and Gba emulation

So, how do i get gba games now?

Thats not very helpfull. I just installed the normal Rxtools version. But i need some cia's installed etc? How do i do that? (Got gateway) and then, how do i convert games?

(You don't need to install the patched AGB_FIRM, rxTools 2.6 should already include it).

Ok so i downloaded a Gba game in CIA form from The site that must not be named. Now what?
Do i install the game on Gateway's EmuNAND with BBM, then switch to Rxtools, and play?

Yes it should be fine (and you can directly install it in rxMode if you have a cia installer installed on your emunand)

I tried putting mother 3 on emuNAND and it doesn't run. Is there a way to fix this without hacking sysNAND at all? I really don't want to install any unsigned titles on my sysNAND, just for risk minimization.

It's weird, you should try to install the patched AGB_FIRM on your emunand.

To see if your NANDs are linked, connect your SD card to your computer and open the Nintendo 3DS folder.
If there's two folders in it (named as a combination of letters and numbers), your NANDs are unlinked. There is one folder per NAND.
If there is only one, they are linked.

I've had the exact same problem (except with unlinked NANDs).

Still haven't gotten a suggestion that's fixed it yet so I'm haunting this thread like boss....

Question: Is there a way so that my menu icons don't return to a gift package on reboot? Everytime i reboot, everything is in packages. (not just the game)

This is one of the issues you can jave with linked nands, but the problem is if you unlink your nands, then you will need to install the gbas games on both in order to play them on the emunand.

Ah that sucks.. And no, i did not have to mess with agb. Rxtools had it installed. All in all it was surprisingly easy. Install Rxtools, and install Gba CIA games onto EmuNAND

Im guessing that linked nands also prevent me from putting files on folders? They reset.

Also, when i installed BBM. Cia, i got a icon in my menu. Its a totally black icon named Steeldiver Subwars (and in the description are numorous ''??'' What is it and how do i get rid of it?


I tried to make my own GBA game, but it says the save is corrupted. How do i remove that game from my 3DS?
