So I have a Wii which I modded sometime ago (1,5 - 2,5 year back or something) but at that time it was impossible to run Wii or GC backups from discs (at least that's what I think). So have the situation changed or is it still the same? My model is: RVL-001 (EUR) and the serial no is. LEH277815581.
According to the www.wiidrives.com database, your Wii has a D3-2 drive, which cannot play backups. Only a installing a new drive or drive controller board will allow backups.
