Hacking Running Backups with LU88 Black Wii

Hi, I am wondering if I can run disc backups with a 4.2U LU88 black Wii?

If not, what are my options?

If I'm not mistaken, black Wiis have the new D3-2 drives that can't run backups, even with a modchip. You'd have to actually swap out the drive with an older one. You can, however, use USB loaders and play ISOs off a hard drive.

Oh okay, will installing DARKCORP v1.1 full version brick it?!
Cuz, I installed it just like 10 minutes ago and it's still finishing up the install.

It probably won't brick it, but at the same time, it won't yield any useful results, you still can't run backups with that drive.

Yeah, I should've just asked here before installing DARKCORP.
Do you think I should just uninstall darkcorp?

installing darkcorp and uninstalling darkcorp are both dangerous. i'd just leave it as is unless (until) you have a specific problem caused by having darkcorp.
