Gaming Rune factory help.

I've got an urgent question for rune factory. i accidentally wasted quite a few branches, because at first i thought they were junk and not useful.

(p.s im a harvest moon noob)

i got a free axe from the rich blue haired girl which can apparantly chop branches into wood (from the description)

now i put some wood on the ground and used the axe on it. it dissapeared and i gained no wood. how am i supposed to properly do this?

oh and which days are holidays on?

also i am a bit of a perfectionist. Is there any optional items that if i somehow miss will be unavailable in the future?

P.S. I'll be using this topic for more questions in the future, that i am bound to have.

Yes you did.

When you chop a branch it automatically goes into your wood stock(heh). Don't worry about it

Also, don't do what I did and sell some of your wood...>_>

Lol i just figured it out before you posted lol. didnt look at that part of the farm b4.

and u dont know how many branches i wasted, thining they were junk and throwing them away

Is there a record of time played in the game? and is there any disadvantage to progressing through the game very slowly (as i am inclined to do) ?

And i took out 2 pieces of wood. can i put them back in the shed?

why should i leave them in the shed?

can i use them to buy/build stuff without taking them outn of the shed?

I'm going slow too, I HATE the time but it keeps things interesting.

yes you can put them back in the shed, you have to hold them and throw them in (like throwing stuff in the shipping chest). don't drop them and chop them again or you'll lose the piece.

you should leave them in the shed because you don't have to have the wood on you to buy/build stuff - it automatically deducts it for you.

does it automatically ship for you or do you have to do something... (Since i spoke to some guys about shipping prices wtf?)

and does shipping give more money than selling to shop keepers.

edit: oh and when does the season change? (realtime?)

Gee this game is complex. Fun though!

Shipping prices aren't different from selling in the shops. (I think)

Seasons change after every 30 days in the game.

silverspoon - i might be interested, but for the moment i'll play fair and get a bit more aquianted with the game.

edit: hey i met this Ivan guy at the top of the village who sells stuff. i can't remember if he said this, but does he only come on holidays?

and he changed his stock (i saw him for a second time) !!!

he had a seed maker but i didnt have the cash to buy it, so now i came back and he wanted to sell me tables and shelves

Ivan's merch changes week to week. It's all a rotation though. The seed maker will be back

Hell, i didn't even know you could run until now. i was wondering why they forced you to walk slowly 0_0

i can imagine now its gonna be much more easier to navigate around now.
