E3 is coming up and that means lots of speculation about potential PSP price drop announcements. And a visitor to Wal-Mart seems to think he's spotted something. An older PSP bundle was dropped to just $150 which made it cheaper than the stand-alone PSP 3000 pack, begging the question of whether they were just trying to shift old stock or have given an indication that the price of the PSP will drop.

I picked up Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds for $20 (YES!!) but something caught my eye...the Ratchet and Clank PSP- 3000 series bundle which includes Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters, a voucher for Everyday Shooter, National Treasure 2 on UMD, AND a 1GB Memory card was a WHOPPING $50 off the normal price and had been dropped to $150, which made it CHEAPER than the stand-alone PSP-3000 pack (which is $170)!!!

This is also speculation that the new PSP Go! rumor may be true afterall.

Well this would be a good way for sony the go against the DSi by making psp cheaper than it and making it cheaper also makes it easier for people to get them which might further psp homebrew since that is it's main use.

anyone here know how to use METEO?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    It's very simple.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Meteo is like an AVI-to-GBA converter. Just drag-and-drop your AVI file in, and then convert.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, like those gba carts that have movies and tv episodes in them?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
But Nintendo's GBA video format is different, being that it uses a custom ROM and chipset for rendering, for like the Shrek and Shark Tale titles. Been undumpable for years and years.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Meteo uses it's own player.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, those roms are dumped currently, right?

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Although it's kinda pointless to download them anyway since you get the movies in horrible quality
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Yep, they are now, but it took a shit ton of RE'ing.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    RE = reverse engineering
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, can you remind me what reverse engineering meant pls?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Reverse engineering, to put it simply, is to understand how the software or hardware was made.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Lol someone tried using my email to log into Nintendo
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, is that through trial and error sometimes?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, did you enter any sus site?
