While there hasn't been any sign from Nintendo thus far on when the Nintendo Direct will be rescheduled, a Japanese developer recently tweeted about an announcement coming on Thursday, 9/13, for Japan. PushDustin of SourceGaming who primarily handles all Smash-related news and developments about the series commented on this tweet. He believes this developer to be hinting at the Nintendo Direct that was supposed to air last week being pushed to this upcoming Thursday. It should also be noted that the Splatoon 2 event that was set to be released on September 7th was found to be pushed back to the 14th via dataming.
