Hey guys, I know this is my first post and all, so I might not be credible but,
I have a friend who lives in Spain, his Wii has a screwed up DVD drive so this would be perfect for him.
When I showed it to him he had told me he had already seen it and though it was most likely fake because the day that site was made on is Spain's "April Fools Day" and after doing some research he was pretty sure that the site was owned and registered to somebody from Spain.

Yes, flatmii.com is hosted in spain.
And spanish people take this seriously. If flatmii is real and they decided to announce it on 28 dec, they are not smart.

I think the news was only spread on 28 dec... So i think it could be true

What makes me to think it's true is, the part in the latest video when he sets his notebook on standby and the discerror apeared. you can clearly see the wiidrive won't get touched.

But also that's fakeable with a second wii connected to the monitor instead of the one shown. And for the GC-Pad, you can see that a cable is connected to the wii, but he hid the cable outgoing of the pad... why?

Well if this isn't real, don't you think we'll find out soon enough once somebody tries it out anyway? It's not like everyone is gonna get it at the same time and be all "AWWWWWW ITS FAKE". Even if it's fake, it won't have changed the way most of us have been doing things.
