Also what a shame the scene has become, having a japanese hacker(s) do all the work

Are you being racist?
No,in fact,the Japanese are great.
It's just that,we would have to rely on Rudolph now,all the time,to do the work.He doesn't even need to do this,he could just leave the scene all together if he likes.
What I'm trying to point out here is,he hacked the jp games before, not caring most about the UE games, but now he has to do this, its kinda weird and pathetic actually, that we can't hack our own games(region)

cut the topic im not racist,I'm just stating what I feel

I think this is a "POKÉMON HG/SS PATCH" thread, NOT a place where you guys can talk about being Racist 'n all.

Do that elsewhere please, or don't talk/discuss about it at all.

Stay on topic.
This is a thread about a working Patch. Keep your opinions to your selves.

Japanese isn't a race, god damn.

Racism isn't only about "races", god damn.

I'm saving that in a database of the stupidest things I have ever read. Hoo boy, thanks for making my day.

He right you know.
raceism is discrimination by race.
sexism is discrimination by gender.
ageism is discrimination by age.

They are their own forms of discrimination, and other forms of discrimination have their own terms.

It's all discrimination one way or another.

I need some help, the patch doesnt like me. Im patching the clean rom from that other site, but the patch.exe doesnt seem to do anything. It sits there in the background. actually its running right now, its been running for like 5-10 mins now. no other file has been created, and when i consult task manager it says its not responding, and freezes when i right click. . . nvm lol it just said congratulations patch is done LOL. well i guess this can be for all those people who dont know what to do?

Drag the clean rom to the Patch.exe.
Wait until the Patch is done.
Coppy the clean rom in the folder to your SD card then play

So I just got my ass handed to me for more than an hour at the E4, on No$GBA, and didn't crash once (even though I got a sprite glitch once on Victory Road, but it went away quickly). So yeah, confirmed once again to not crash on a certain amount of events, I guess.

Meaning that people are still getting freezes on Rudolph's patch for the US HG/SS.
well, I'm not. and if you look carefully, you'll see that 99% of problems are from inserting the .bak file (that is, unpatched rom) instead of the .nds one or are blue unable-to-save screens, which are fixed by the ARM7 swap. yes, I do see that select few are having problems and swear they patched their rom correctly, but how come other people with the very same cards are reporting success? also, the freezes from the beginning of this thread are with the first version of the patch, which was not very reliable.

sometimes my save is corrupted and it reloads the previous save...

what triggers this? it's happened before the patch too..
I get this too. I thought I was doing something wrong...

what card/firmware do you both use? anyway, it doesn't seem related to this patch. try the ARM7 swap.

when you guys patch the game, use the one that has .nds at the end, not the one with the .bak.

thats the backup rom you used to patch the game.

simple shit.
