Just a future notice for others as well to read previous postsÂ

If they missed your previous tips, wouldn't they miss this warning too?

Anyways... Thank you for adding Zip support. If things work out, I'll be sending a small donation.

I did have some questions for you, though.

How does your app handle games not in the database? Will it ignore them?

Currently, it *can* see them, but they have to already be in the folder. If you drag and drop, it will complain

However, for the next release, you can drag and drop any game and it'll take it, whether there's a database entry or not.

The beta testers are currently testing out the new functionality on how it handles the games... of course there's some bugs to iron out, so hang tight!

I get this error when I open Rominator...
No patter what button I press it just repeats over and over and I have to use CTRL+ALT+DEL to end it

I re-downloaded it but it still doesn't work...

do you have a directory set up for a flash card, and then that card not inserted?
cos that's what happens to me.

I inserted the MicroSD reader and card but I still get the error. There was something about clearing the settings earlier on, I'll search the thread.

- Sam

Edit: Ok, I held CTRL+ALT when the program started but then I got another error...

Can anyone help me?

- Sam

You said you 'got another error'... It would be helpful if you stated what this other error was

If you cleared the settings and tried again, you wouldn't get the same error message, so it's obviously a different error this time around.

Sorry about that, I usually would but I was trying to do homework at the same time and I was tired...
I didn't actually manage to clear the settings because it errored before that.
This is the error I get:

Strange :/

Okay, just delete the Rominator Data folder, from the Documents and Settings/Username here/Application Data folder. Start again

I'll have the new version released soon -- still developing and having my testers testing.

0785 - Puzzle Series Vol 9 - Sudoku 2 Deluxe (J).nds
breaks on import. it says that the DB may be missing. if I remove the nds file and relaunch rominator it finds all 1000+ of my roms. had to throw 785 in seperate location away from rominator until fixed

I've had no problem importing that file into rominator, so you probably have a corrupt file. Try obtaining it from a different source and see if that works.

is this the most successful program on the DS or is DSorganize better?

If you read the topic-title, you probably would have noticed that this app is for Windows, MacOS X and Linux and not for the DS.

Thanks Takeshi for responding, as fitzbean discovered today, I woke up on the wrong side of the bed, so I'm one mean sonofabitch today, so everyone else do your research before asking questions.

I started to have a problem with rominator!!

When i open it the application doest open, but just sits on the taskbar on the bottom on the screen, and i cant maximise it. I've tried overwriting with a fresh copy but with no luck. I love this app but now i cant use it!!

Anyone got any idea what could be the problem?

cheers!!

try deleting evrything from here > Documents and Settings/Username here/Application Data folder then the rominator folder then try again

I can't believe I'm answering this again! Seriously, this is insane how many times I have to deal with this issue!

Hold S-H-I-F-T upon launching. It'll reset the window position. You closed Rominator while it was minimized -- that messes it up -- I'd like to debug it, but my development IDE is only for mac, so it'll take a little longer to fix that one.

But c'mon, I answered this one like 4 or 5 times now.

USE THE SEARCH PEOPLE! Search for 'minimize' or something!

Hey Hank

Any chance of 7zip etc support yet? I know it's been asked before but that was a while back. Thanks for your indulgence.
