Hi guys, I keep getting a problem with the new database updates. I copied the new ds.rod to the new directory and all the box art to the correct directory, but every time I click on a rom in the list it looks like the box art it going to load but it doesn't and I get the error

An Unhandled Error has occurred

Please Submit a bug report explaining exactly what you did to receive this error. If
You cannot duplicate the error, then do not worry about it. Error Type:

Any ideas how to resolve this?

Here is the long answer:
1. Download the latest DS.ROD at http://filetrip.net/g51608-Rominator--ds-rod.html
2. Download the first set of box art for 0001-5284 at http://filetrip.net/file.php?id=21985
3. Download the rest of the box art by using the pulldown on the right where it says "available version" and download all the incremental updates

BTW gang, I am behind schedule on updates due to winter break. I expect to have the last few updates (still less than 10) in the next 24-48 hours.

Hi, sorry for the late response but since I figures it out I figured I would post it, YES I did have all the boxart and NO this was not a problem I always had. The problem did not occur until I downloaded the newest DS.ROD file and installed it along with all the newest box art. I could even verify that the game I had highlighted in Rominator had corresponding boxart in the folder.

After playing around with deleting and restoring copies of files, the problem seems to be related to the GameList.rod file. If I deleted that file and created all new lists with the NEW ds.rod file and boxart in place it works fine. I deleted the GameList.rod file, restored my OLD ds.rod, created new lists, everything worked. Installed the NEW ds.rod and the error returned. Once again deleted the GameList.rod, created new lists, and the error is gone.

So, your mileage may vary but my issue is definitely related to that file. Deleting it and letting it re-create it with the NEW ds.rod in place fixed it.
