ROM Hack RomHack - icon.bin animated possible?

I installed some DSI Wares, and I see they have the icon.bin animated oO (gifs?)
Possible to do it also for .3ds titles?

I never noticed that o.O But I think, you can't convert or change the icons into gifs..and pk3ds wont let you do that. But you can try it out and you can let me know, if you found out something

Animated Icons was only a thing for DSiWare. That's because Icon and "banner" was pretty much the same for the DSi. Where as the 3DS now has a "banner that displays separately from the icon. So the icon file format used on CTR titles (3DS games and such) are now just a static image. The banner was where all the fancy 3D and animation stuff was done on.

So no, only DSiWare had animated "icons" and you can't do the same with CTR titles.
