I've been searching for a way to rip the music out of DS roms today and have come across a lot of half-solutions or things that didn't work for me.

Notably VGMtrans couldn't run under virtual pc (or something). I was looking a bit into NDStools but I don't know if that would do what I want it to.

I'm at a loss. Help?

I am assuming this is basic sdat sounds.

ndstool does not do sound. However you will probably need something like it to pull apart the DS rom

There are two main methods in addition to VGMtrans.

Enjoy.

Sidenote DS emulation is pretty good these days so you can also use the loopback option that probably exists with your soundcard and whatever app you want to use to record.
