I Extracted the n64 rom of ocarina of time from my gamecube disc on to my computer so that i could play it using an n64 emulator. it runs great and everything works fine except, the n64 emulator (Project 64) is using the button set for a n64 controller and the game is programmed to use a gamecube controller. any help would be appreciated

Why not just remap the buttons for an n64 controller?

because there are more buttons on a gamecube controller than on an n64 controller and project 64 only supports mapping your own controller to an n64 controller

Why not just download a master quest n64 ROM someone already converted? Been around for a real long time and they work perfectly :)

there is no difference between a dumped rom and an already converted rom. it is the same rom.

They didn't, but they have n64 ROMs all ready to be played in an emulator of your choice.
