wii u is still very much alive, especially now that we have haxchi and cbhc exploits for continued dev support here. Im playing it more now than ever and i already bought all the AAA games it came out with, its just nice to be able to have all games on usb now [emoji4]

Wiiu isn't dead no, just official support from nintendo. It will reign supreme on gbatemp for a long time 2 come...

Well, obviously. As Nintendo has ended their support with the WiiU (Zelda:BotW being the final WiiU game) there's really nothing left for gamers to get for it in terms of new titles and such. You can of course play the games it has but once you're done with them, well, it's over.

Well, people are going to move on to MK8D and Splatoon 2, but Wii U still has Super Mario Maker and Smash 4 (and free online play). While, yeah, Wii U is dead in terms of official support, we still have GBATemp with nice developers out there, some big projects and mysteries to solve. Wii U and vWii combined have the biggest pool of games possible (including emulators and Virtual Console) and Wii U as a result, can become a PSP-like emulation station.
Also, Nintendo Switch has no backwards compatibility, so why not both Wii U and Switch?

I dunno man, I'd say a system is offically dead once it's first party mutiplayer games time out for matches, and splatoon and mario kart 8 are farrrrr from that
