.............piracy?
Not everyone with backups are pirates
99% of those w/o a legit disc around here
are, though. Riiv is here to make mods for disc owners much easier and faster to accomplish. I have a USB loader and I pirate stuff, but I have a legal copy of Brawl and NSMBW, etc. And you know what? It's a heck of a lot easier than messing with hard-mods. And there will be some amazing XML setups for stuff like Brawl where people can slot in any costume they want without fumbling with renaming files.
Long story short, it's not meant for pirates so why cater to them? Now quit asking.
wow, calm down bro, I got Brawl and NSMBW retail discs also. woohoo for us, pfft. I'll ask if I want.

cIOSCORP won’t work. The IOS is patched on the fly from a clean one, an awesome feature that means bannerbomb users don’t need to install a new IOS or download anything from the Nintendo servers (except the latest update). Since cIOSCORP and a clean IOS to patch can’t co-exist, it’s impossible.
Since it’s it’s own loader, USB ‘backups’ won’t work.
The loader does all the proper checks for bca and disk reliability, for stability reasons (specifically stability with NSMBWii, which was a little unstable during early testing). It hasn’t been tested much with modchips, but one of our testers ‘mysteriously’ started getting Disk Read Errors right after we added them in.
