As by the title, my right joycon isn’t working after a shell swap I did. Here’s what it does:

-doesn’t work at all not even connected to the switch
-when it is connected to the switch and I press buttons, only one of the green lights will blink briefly and stop working.
-the switch does sometimes recognize it when I slide it into the rail.
-I’ve already replaced the sl and sr cable and the battery as well.
- I think it’s not getting power somewhere.

I understand you guys might get this question often but I tried asking the Nintendo switch subreddit but their bot keeps removing it. Any help is appreciated.

You can connect joycons to a normal PC.
Just check if that works in order to see if something technical is wrong with it.
Sometimes the Switch can be stubborn to recognize controllers.
I found that even with the slightest dislocation of those ribbon cables, the controller doesn't work.
The cables have to be in the sockets perfectly.
Another issue might be a crack in the cable.
