So, my switch with sxos is working perfectly, except a pretty annoying issue: When in handheld mode, the console shuts down while showing att battery symbol. If I disconnect the right joycon (physically) and press the power button it starts up from sleep mode as usual, and then it dies again if I connect the joycon. Sometimes it works for an hour, sometimes it dies immediately. Anyone with the same issue, an explanation or solution?

have you modded your joycon ?
seems like your joycon is shorting out the console.
Do you use the joycon tinfoil method >?

Check the switch inner rail and joycon rail for bent pins

Yeah how do you put your switch on rcm? Sounds like hardware issues.

I've tried both with and without auto rcm and jig.. Same issues. But yes I agree. I wonder if another right joycon would make a difference or if the error lies in the console if it's a hardware issue?

I use a jig, I believe the previous owner used tinfoil though... Would that damage the console or the joycon?

Also, I'm not seeing any animation when I connect or disconnect the right joycon. Animations show with the left. But it works fine when connected until it shuts down the console

Yes you have a faulty joycon, or something is wrong with the right rail, check the pins and the connections on the switch rail
