Hacking Rev13 fixed a game that wouldnt load before

Multiple people have tried getting this game to work on a usb loader.Nothing ever worked.

rev13 fixed this game.


sad thing is rev13b killed it and its once again loading a black screen.


maybe rev13 will fix other games like mortal kombat

Questions:
- What loader did you use to test?

- Did it work on any loader with any cIOS from disc before with ANY method, maybe with cioscorp? If yes, what and how?



PS: Rev13a is my eyes is better than rev13b, you just need a loader with 002 fix

Using Gx loader.Rev 453 has the 002 fix.

never could get it to load even from a disc.I never tried cioscorp because i dont have any of it installed.

I was on rev13 and it worked.
Went to rev13b and it stopped working.
Went back to rev13 and its working again.


Im downloading MK right now and will test it out as well.


What exactly did rev13b fix?

Doesnt look like anything except it removed the 002 fix because it was killing all the loaders.

That killing of the loaders, is more the loaders fault, or Waninkoko not warning before. The change from a to b is 002 fix and maybe more, maybe not. Or that the game stops working again is a bug. It could be that the 002 fix in the cIOS fixing something it must not fix.

Do me a favor, if rev14 kills the game again PM me, so i can bug Waninkoko until it's fixed again

About MK, very little chance it works, but if, this would mean that the IOS Reload Blocker would be 1. activated and 2. would be already partly working.


PS: I got 1 report that Takt of Magic works with rev13 now, this needs more testing.

Rev13 and Rev13b didnt fix Mortal Kombat


Still loads to the screen where it shows what controllers can be used and then loads a black screen of nothing.

I still say rev 12 is the best right this second for a few reasons:

1. Still works correctly with CURRENT loaders (this will change when the loaders are updated for rev 13 routines)

2. Fixes the need for a disc in the drive for Metroid and possibly others?

3. Works just fine with GX and has run everything that the previous cIOS's have (for me)

Im back on rev12 as well.

It works with gx loader that has the 002 rev13 fix in it.

Rev12 also fixes the disc in drive for deadly creatures as well.

Well CURRENT disc loaders don't work with rev12, you get 001 errors there. Also rev12 is slower than rev10 or rev13. And 002 is just too easy to fix with a loader.

Takt of Magic works with Rev13
Tested with USB Loader GX 456

Also the new game "Arc Rise Fantasia" works perfectly too.
