Hacking Returning a flashed DS

So, just today the hinge on my flashed DSL broke. I am sending it back to Nintendo, and am wondering if they check for this sort of thing?

You bet they will.

They'll even charge you a fee for fixing the DS, and well as probably reflash it. Or they'll just send it right back to you saying they won't service it at all

Gosh, just flash it back with the original firmware

I find it incredibly stupid if they refuse to service it (because it is their own product, and who knows it better than the creator?)

Last thing I heard nintendo never checked. You never know though, your better just reflashing back to the original firmware.

when i sent in my DS about 4 months ago, i sent it flash (flashme stealth

) and they didnt notice, Just got a new one
