200 dollars!
The bounty is now at 200 :)
At this rate it won't take long until a developer takes notice of this :P
Let's keep those fingers crossed

Hopefully it gets added to the bounty list, as it should auto update (at least the title part), not sure why it hasn't :P

Alright so for some reason I can't get any of the cores to load. Whenever I try it just freezes towards the end as shown in the attachment. I've tried several different builds, including the latest stable build. Anyone have an idea of what might I be doing wrong?

Today support for HID Controllers were added to Retroarch!
I works with the same config files as HID to VPAD, so grab them from this repo (https://github.com/Maschell/controller_patcher_configs) to have full support.
They need to be placed at sd:/wiiu/controller

The Network Client does also work.

A few notes for the best experience:
- The HID Controllers will be in device slot 5-16.
- Set the maxmimum controllers to 16 to access them all.
- To always have control over the menu:
- Set "All Users Control Menu" to ON
- Bind "User 15 Device Index" to the Wii U Gamepad
- Then you can bind Device 1/2 and still have control over the menu
- Once you are in the game, press tap the screen to get to the menu
- You need to bind the buttons manually.

Grab the newest nightlies from today! The appstore releases will be added later

SWEET! This is amazing dude, thank you so much! I'm going to fiend 3rd Strike on this console now. :D Can't wait to try it after work.

EDIT: Alright, had some time before work and I got the network client to work with my xbone controller! It behaves very strange, however, with the face buttons never working and the analogue stick always moving upper left. I'll try it with a wired connection to see how that improves. Do I connect the ethernet cable from laptop to router or wii u to router?

EDIT 2: this is all in the home menus. How do I get into the Retroarch core once I have loaded up HIDtoVpad? The controller stop responding once I load up 3rd Strike. I used latest nightly .elf

Does HID to vPad support mean that now I can play with my Madcatz SFIV Arcade Stick xbox 360 or do I need some kind of adapter?

Perhaps @pwsincd and/or @brienj could add the latest nightlies to the appstore for easy access.
The latest nightlies have HID support and XMB menu now!

Also, @ploggy, how are you loading RA?
Through individual cores or with the general RetroArch core only?

General Retroarch Core I guess (main app)

Also when using XMB Driver, even the other built in themes work. this thing is great :)
