For IPF I don't think so for libretro-uae , I think it require to build with capsimage support like for hatari (option to build IPF support) .
For AGA untested on wii U but on PC i use uae file like this:
for Aladdin
Code:
use_gui=no
show_leds=true
chipset=aga
cpu_type=68ec020
chipmem_size=4
fastmem_size=4
gfx_center_vertical=simple
gfx_center_horizontal=simple
gfx_width=640
gfx_height=420
sound_channels=mixed
kickstart_rom_file=./Kick301.rom
floppy0=./aladdin1.adf
floppy1=./aladdin2.adf

EDIT: BTW diablodiab wrote an good tutorial about using puae. It a very good starting point even with wii U.

Iv'e used your Aladdin example Config as a base on my copy of Aladdin and I get this error?

All we needed was Retroarch to take on the issue, then.

Well, now to wait for it to happen.
Hopfully someone picks it up soon. :)

damn ,so maybe not working on wii U.
can't try on wii U until tomorrow , then I will test it.
I managed to get in game by enabling "immediate blit" but the game is showing bad graphics and is slow.

Oh about the C16/C64 keyboard issue it turns out it was probably my own fault I managed to play a few games last night with no problems :)

like i said the entire time mednafen needs a dynarec on pc before even considering porting it, one needs to exist so maybe we get lucky and someone actualy writes one in C and porting becomes a thing then.

After fresh installing Retroarch today, I started it up, played some games and then quit after updating overlays. (thats the retroarch ui right?)
When I exited to HBL and tried to start Retroarch again, I got a error message that my WiiU System memory is corrupt or something like that :S
Whats up with this?

Maybe here someone can help me, I installed retroarch (Working fine for me)
But i got annoyed by all the "cores" in my HBL so i installed Retroarch Launcher
It is loaded trough HBL and i can see all the cores there, but as soon as i launch 1 core it just boots to the normal wii u menu (Begin screen) instead of retroarch.
Anyone got a idea what i am doing wrong? Also got from a few pages back a wup installer for a "shortcut" to retrolauncher i believe it was? (Was mega download link)
That does the same, just boots back to the normal wii u menu (Begin screen)

How i got my sd card setted up:

Delete your config file, replace retroarch.rpx by whatever core, rename and try again.

You also could try installing RA channel as it boots its own rpx file not the one in apps.

Your folder structure is outdated, RA Launcher (channel) is looking for cores in sd:/retroarch/cores

The retro folder in sd:/wiiu is not needed anymore. Update your cores with latest nightlies, delete your config files, and try again.

Is there a tutorial how to install the Ra channel? I've never installed a channel before on WiiU :)

Edit: Forgot to say, thank you!!

Use WUP Installer Y mod, to install unsigned channel like this you need boot a custom firmware (cfw) in Haxchi intro screen press and hold B button, it will take you back to system menu, enter to HBL again run WUP Installer Y mod.

Channel contents go in sd:/install/channel_name/app_files

"channel_name" can be whatever name.

You can use the channel in my sig, or brienj one, it's somewhere in this thread.
