Wait for a good build again if the current one gives you problems - I could never see going back to vWii to do this. At this point, there's not much reason to chase new builds unless there's something broken or additional cores gets added. Once you get it the way you like it, don't change it - chances are things aren't going to change in any substantial way for months.

TyrQuake got fixed
So there's hope.
I want to believe in hope for seeing more progress to the features and other cores that need to be implemented and/or fixed, I really do....
I honestly hope hacks for the Switch don't go mainstream for 2-3 years. I know it's funny saying that here but every console deserves a grace period without online cheaters and a constant barrage of stability updates to defeat hacks.
I'm happy to keep RA going on the Wii U until then, I love this machine. My RA wishlist has shrunk down to "things that would be nice" - NGP fixed, overlay support, maybe dynarec for PSX but I've already got a CFW PS3 for that.

Dynarec on Wii U will most likely not happen anyway. The failed bounty and lack of interest are proof of that. The machine can handle it, it's definitely a powerhouse for it, but you know.

Kinda hard if the PS3 I have is the super slim model, firmware's kinda high to have it modded. Downgrading the firmware is too risky.
i think in order to get more interest in the psx core we need to find a dev, and hash out a price.
The Atari800 port is what actually got me to update to the 1.6.3 nightly after sleeping on Ra updates for a few months, the 5200 was my wife's one and only console as a kid so I wanted to surprise her with it tonight. The sound does definitely seem off from what I remember of the old vWii version...

Easier said than done, how would we get someone willing and interested to port over the WiiSXR dynarec to the Wii U? And how much of a bounty would we need? 500 dollars USD? Right now the bounty is 250, but I recently spoke to my boss and I will eventually be able to get more hours, so I'll pitch in more as much as I can.
Hopefully we can get more people to invest in this, i still think it's worth it.

Time. All its gonna take is time. Not more money, time.
There's no point in getting upset about it when you could just play those cores or emulate them on other systems or a home pc while you wait.
If nobody has done anything about it its because that person simply hasn't come along.
Regardless, the app is still being worked on and getting significant updates little by little.

as about forums, when i recently revisited some old forums i used to be regular and seeing how immature most members still are i was like "Yeap. Nothing of value has been lost.". Unfortunately it's the good, comfy forums that ended up dead or shut down, especially because of internet centralization.
