I don't understand why no other Switch game used this method to clone the Wii-Mote behavior:

However this would be the freakin' best thing ever if we could use that in RetroArch as a mouse while the Switch is docked!
Just press + and the mouse cursor is centered and moves along with the Joy-Con gyro sensor.

TWEWY has pointer controls in dock mode too
I would like to use a joycon as a zapper/phaser/arcade gunlight

Something weird

When i update the dosbox core by using retroarch menu, all games work (HOMM2 AND OTHERS) but when i try to install dosbox dynarec core from m4xw in the core folder, games don't work and retroarch crashes ? Did i miss something ?

Dolphin when? :tpi:
But in all seriousness, it would be cool to have the IR pointer to work for lightgun games of all kind.
From the Zapper, to the PSX Lightgun (Resident Evil Survivor bby), and a lot more, like Arcade games as well.
Hopefully RetroArch adds functionality for making use of the IR pointer in the right joycon for these kind of games.

fw < 4.x?

Wow with the latest GlideN 3.0 build Pokemon Snap finally works for me! Only thing is the red dot doesn't work (There is a red dot in the camera which appears if a Pokemon is focused in the middle of the screen). That's just a minor issue as the game is totally playable, but I wonder why the dot isn't working?? I tried different settings but it won't appear.

And Pokemon Puzzle LEague just boots to black screen, I also tried different settings but I don't get it working at all - anyone here who managed to get this booting??

Thanks @m4xw for your work by the way, absolutely fantastic, really appreciate it :)

why that work for me on 6.2?

Only the latest custom firmware versions (atmosphere, hekate, SXOS) contain the necessary code to allow dynarec to work. This is irrespective of your ofw.

In other words: to get dynarec, update your atmosphere, hekate, or SX OS to the latest version. Keep your official firmware at 6.2 or whatever you want.

I put a folder of, numbered, WordPad files in sdmc/switch. That way, I can use NX-Shell to go in and add a name to them so I know what savestate slot goes to which game.

To clarify this, the WP files can't be opened and are only their for renaming purposes.

Dynarec mupen next core works perfectly with my sx cfw but dosbox doesn’t work. In my opinion it’s another issue but i don’t find it.
