are you using https://gbatemp.net/threads/use-atmosphere-to-access-full-ram-with-homebrews-without-nsp.521240/ to get full ram access ?ive not tested retroarch since the dynamic stuff has been released. i did try some n64 games previously and they worked. now ive updated and using the dynamic i just get a black screen but with audio from the game in background.?
i did try adding the config. but it doesnt say where to add it to in this thread nor in the dynamic thread. unless im just thick lolYou need the config
edit. i did move it but still abit choppy. the config file is saved as a txt document. should this be changed to cfg?Main retroarch folder
retroarch nsp is no longer supported you have to use the title take over to get the choppiness away along with the newest hekate 4.8 which has the jit patches.ive just updated to latest atmosphere 8.4 with retroarch nsp installed. i have loaded up a n64 title and managed to get the picture to display. i changed to dynamic recompiler. it still seems very choppy on ocarana of time with stock cpu? am i ment to up the clock speed or can this get decent performence with default clock speed?
The latest atmosphere has the patches tooso i genuinely cant do this without hekate then?where is a full flat out guide for this? i dont get why im searching 2 or more threads for parts of info...
It could be nice have a method to edit all those from a legit eShop game...Coming to think of the HBL redirection method ... I could use the smallest game in size with which this is possible and alter it's icon and title to RetroArch.

Edit: Turns out this isn't possible with hactool like I thought it was.
Anyone knows a tool to change
of a XCI or NSP?
- titleID
- icon
- title (aka name)
Definitely. Somehow I thought we already have the tools for that but it seems that is not the case or I forgot about them.It could be nice have a method to edit all those from a legit eShop game...
I think it's possible edit the nsp before installing, edit it after sadly don't.Definitely. Somehow I thought we already have the tools for that but it seems that is not the case or I forgot about them.
However I asked a question here:
https://gbatemp.net/questions/how-t...d-of-a-game-either-nsp-xci-or-installed.4333/
Let's see how it turns out.![]()
That would me more than enough.I think it's possible edit the nsp before installing, edit it after sadly don't.
Chances are you get banned from NSO.That would me more than enough.
But still I haven't found a tool to alter e.g. the icon.
Obviously I won't do that in an environment I would go online with.Chances are you get banned from NSO.
i have updated to the latest atmosphere today 8.4 but im still getting alot of lag. the mupen cfg i downloaded is a rich txt document. does this need changing to a cfg or is it ok as is? is there really no guide with all this info in one place? The latest atmosphere has the patches too
I wouldn't sacrifice my subscription like that and disabling NSO access just for an icon, either way HULU is a good replacement, the icon and name itself is Homebrew Ultimate Launcher UtilityObviously I won't do that in an environment I would go online with.![]()
