Hey, RetroArch starts on my switch, but my roms will not show up. Ive also noticed on NXshell that my fully transferred rom files only show 0KB. Is there something wrong with my SD card?

I could be wrong, but that sounds like some standard exfat corruption to me.

Ozone is the new menu driver you've been seeing around for a while To enable it : 1. Update your assets using the Online Updater 2. Go to Settings > Driver > Menu Driver and set it to ozone 3. Restart RetroArch p.s. your switch has to be able to go online for this to work

Updating assets does not update Retroarch itself to the latest Nightly?
I think it only downloading the actual GUI assets like icons, fonts and backgrounds. I might be wrong, but I always download the latest Nightly from the Buildbot and then I download the latest assets. seems to work for me

New to Retroarch I'm following the guide but transfering the Retroarch folder to Switch SD card seems to take a eternity is this normal

For the life of me, I can't seem to figure out the logic behind the joycon splitting within the control settings. I'm assuming for me to split controller 1, I would need to turn joycon 1 and 2 splitting on. Is this correct?

If so, when turning the controller on its side after changing this setting, the joycon doesn't work as expected. Would I then need to change the key binds in order to correctly implement joycon splitting?

Guys I downloaded the psp psx bios and put it in the system/cores folder but it keeps saying no bios found when I start a game, I also tried renaming it to bios.bin but same issue.

How do I i make it find the bios?

Also how do I exit a game and go back to the main menu of retroarch instead of having to keep restarting the program?

Thx

Try renaming to SCPH1001.BIN

Hi, how can I play mouse+keyboard games like theme hospital with dosbox in the latest nightly retroarch? The game starts, there is the input field for the username. I cannot type or move the mouse with the loycon or pro controler.

How do I read the manual? I know! I let a youtuber do it for me!

But how do I find one? I know! I ask around in a webforum, so other people will search for me.

Essentially what the video shows you. You can also map mouse emulation to one of the joysticks. And mouse clickactions to buttons.

Hello everyone,
This a fantastic all-in-one emulation application and I thank all those who worked hard on it! I just have a small question - I am unable to get any of the built-in cheats working. I have gone to the auto-updater and updated the cheat list which worked successfully. It appears however that, regardless of which emulator or game I use, when I add the cheat list, activate the cheat, select "Apply Changes" then go back and click "Resume", the game begins again where I left off but the cheats are not active. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. This appears to be the case regardless of which cheat list I select for the appropriate game and version of the game. What am I missing?

So, I have a question which is probably going to be a controversial question... Would it be possible to use SX OS's USB drivers to have retroarch access external HDDs? Ofcourse, that would only be compatible right now with SX OS but... For now it would be awesome to have it be able to connect to a huge hdd of games!

Another question would be, is there currently a conventional way to use external hdds with retroarch and im just out of the loop?

Having trouble getting tinfoil to install the retroarch.nsp, it keeps erroring out when I try to install

Is there a verstion of tinfoil that plays nicely with retroarch?

Hi just want to ask because specific latest switch related news is hard to find. Is 1.7.5 the latest version still? No fix for PSX yet? N64 still a WIP?
