I don’t believe saving the state works yet. What does work is the native saving feature of games that have those, although after saving in game you may have to pull up the quick menu (+ & -) and select Close Content in order to generate the save files.

Thanks! That worked!

Oh the ones you posted there were not added yet, just added them as I'm writing this :P

For the ROMs folders, you don't need to have those specific names.
In the Wii U version, I have folders like NES, SNES, Genesis, etc. for the ROMs.
The ONLY place where you really need to have those names specified (Nintendo - Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo - Nintendo Entertainment System, etc) is in the Playlists files (Nintendo - Nintendo Entertainment System.lpl).
I haven't tried cheats yet, so I don't know how those are supposed to be named.
Yeah that's true but to avoid getting confused I'm the kind of guy who keeps even the rom folder names in the same pattern as they have to be for playlists, thumbs, cheats, xmb icons and so on. :) But you're right.

Yep that seems reasonable, saves you the trouble of having a folder named wrongly :P

I post the most updated cores on the OP.
As soon as someone posts them, I update the links on the OP to the newest cores people provide.
So if you need somewhere to grab the latest builds of a core, you can always check the OP :)

Anyone get mame2003 working? I downloaded a full romset for a future release if not. Lol

Lol indeed. *hmm*

The App Store another user in here flogs, has actually an early build - with frequent crashes not fixed (too early for that to be included).

edit: There is one in the first posting in here as well. Probably the same build.

And as long as we are on a begging for builds spree, I would actually like to start a Snatcher (MegaCD) playthrough on the Switch, so I'm looking for a picodrive build with hopefully this weeks fixes and save support as well.

Oh forgot to mention...
I am handling the Retroarch core updates on the App store as well as contribution to pwsincd :)

I took the liberty today to update all of the cores today, I will simply do some changes in some pics tomorrow.
I will try to keep it up to date as more cores show up ;)

Also guys, for anyone interested in building RA cores for the Switch, you can follow this guide:
https://reswitchedweekly.github.io/Building-RetroArch/

It might show some outdated info, but the people in charge might update it within some days once things settle on a more stable state :)

Gotta say you're doing a great job man.

@ShadowOne333 Thank you, much appreciated.

edit: Just as a PSA, both Sega Genesis cores currently still are of the "crash on exit" kind. :)

Just a note, This bug affects all retroarch cores I use. When looking through the list of games, after a time, it does not show any more and freezes. Hope this helps, and major thanks for the people who has given me such joy to have a switch!

Tomobobo mention this in here before ( https://gbatemp.net/threads/retroarch-switch.492920/page-36#post-7864912 ) - good to have independent confirmation. (I'm till only using a handful of roms for testing, so I havent reproduced it.)

The "crash on exit bug" I mentioned, was referring to the one apparently fixed this week (rendering/resolution issue). Both probably are different issues. :)
