another sega emulator genesis gx , again i cant load any roms (can somebody tell me the folder structor ?) i am always getting 2162-0002 error
Added to the OP. Thanks
I added a tagline to both GenPlus and Mame mentioning they don't seem to load ROMs at the moment.
I like Gen Plus GX more, dunno why.
If Gen Plus added 32x support it would blow PicoDrive out of the water for sure

Which version of mame did you compile ? Which romset must be used ?

Isn't it supposed to be:
sd:/switch/mame2000-libretro/mame2000-libretro.nro

I am not sure if that's how it should go, afaik that's the way it should.
Or do you mean the structure for ROMs?
Be careful with the ROMs though, as even the tiniest change in Romset will make Mame go apeshit and crash.
Try compiling Mame 2003 and find a ROM like the Simpsons (4 player).
That one is known to work on 2003, perhaps even 2000.

listen idk why the issue is with all of this , the final burn alpha libnx app creates all the folder for us , all the libtransistor apps have to been made randomly , is this because we dont have 100% support yet ? yeah i forgot it cant write yet

What's holding us up with normal saving?
Libtransistor doesn't have writing permissions yet I believe.
Only read right now from SD.
I think @roblabla is working on writing to SD, which should make saving possible.

One way to try this out would be to put a savefile inside sd:/retroarch/cores/savefiles/ with the same name as the ROM you will boot.
Then boot the game and see if it detects the save file on boot.
If it does, then it's because of permissions that we cannot create/overwrite saves.

well seems like emulators like mame , genesis gx needs some more write rights to create there own folders etc and well atm it cant.

since i cant reach robabla i dont know what to changed on retroarch , @ShadowOne333 if you could ask blabla what to change i would be greatful

I'll attempt asking him as quote what he said in response as soon as he does.

EDIT:
Well he seems to mention having no clue how RetroArch works, so he doesn't know exactly where the code for writing the saves is at.
I sent him two files where I believe the default path is set at, so hopefully that helps him.
He said "maybe I didn't try hard enough", so perhaps it's just a matter of him getting the hang of it :P
