It’s definitely faster, I tried tweaking options with current mupen64plus-next but couldn’t get it to run without several lag. Too bad that svc build doesn’t have OC compatibility for 8.0.X, neither thumbnails feature, it must be an old build :P
Then you half-assed your core options tweaking.
Ppl also say the same with paper mario, but that runs in 1080p handheld and HD textures.
Don't make me check the game :french_bread:.
I know who will buy be a case if it "just happens" to work...

That build isn't necessary anymore. You will find the latest and best version available in the "2019-04-29 Nightly Build". You will actually be downgrading by using that other build. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but that one that comes in the "2019-04-29 Nightly Build" is obviously more up to date.

I disabled every option and couldn’t make Yoshi runs normally, will keep trying maybe I’m missing the lucky one :p
Only using svc for that specific game btw @FanboyKilla

Anyway if someone reads this and manage to get Yoshi’s Story at full speed with latest nightly please share your options here :)

Try video_threaded on, audio driver switch_thread, audio latency 85.
Then Core options: FBEmu on, Color/Depth buffer off, less accurate blending mode on, LOD emu off, noise emu off.
GPU shader depth write off.

Good to know that it won't overclock with 8 though, downgrade and play Yoshi to your heart's content!

No need to use separate mupen next builds now, by the way. The nighlies should be up to date now.

Tried that, but still lags :(

Other than that, great release i must say. Good job!

The nightly PSX-Rearmed recently implemented dithering, but it causes noticable slowdown. You can disable it in the core options.

Ok, it will be disabled by default on the next bot build

Dissidia 012 seems to work fine now except for one problem. After saving once, and then completely exiting retroarch, the next time I play the game I can no longer save. Anyone else running into that problem or know of possible issues/solutions related to that?

I also notice that when I start a new game, it isn't able to see my prologus save data.

With older PPSSPP beta builds I couldn't overwrite or delete used save slots in crisis core, but this now works fine with the latest nightly. Your issue might be related.

EDIT: Never mind, should have searched harder. Been a while since i've done anything on the switch..

Hey,
Having some trouble setting up Retroarch and have a few questions.

Where do I put the Retroarch folder and do I keep the .nro in the retroarch folder
Where do I put the Roms and are they ok to be in zipped format, how do you guys manage your collections, subfolders etc.

Sure I'll have some more questions as some of you have sweet looking set-ups.

Cheers.

Hi everyone !

I have question on caprice32 core.

Can gx4000 games run on caprice32 core on the switch version ?

If core is not compatible with gx4000 games at this time, will it be possible in the future ?

Thanks in advance
