Really annoyed with Retroarch 1.2.2 at the moment. Returned to play Chrono Trigger only to find it has 'forgotten' about 3 hours of my save game (internal save - not save state). The strange thing is that it remembers a much earlier save game so I'm wondering what exactly is the problem? I had saved it many times after this point. I'm reluctant to carry on with the game is this is going to keep happening.
Should I be using internal saves or save states? Is there a recommended way to close down retroarch that will avoid this problem? (e.g. close content before quitting retroarch). Retroarch is annoying and buggy, but the actual emulation itself still seems better than the standalone emulator for snes.
