Hacking Retroarch on 3.65?

Probably a yes, but I still haven't found confirmation. Last incompatible app killed my memory card. Help would be appreciated.
I haven't had any issues with it. For SNES recommended core is either 2005 or 2005 Plus. For GBA use VBA Next. the gpSP core is slow af.

It’s working well for me on 3.65, I have the gen1 vita, don’t know if that makes a difference.
 
There is no difference. I am now using it. My only problem is that X an O are switched. Do you how to change that?
On the main RetroArch menu (quick menu, load core, load content, etc.) press right, I forget which option it's in and can't check it at the moment because PKGj is doing its thing but it's in "input" or "configuration" I think.
