Homebrew Question RetroArch N64 Core lags entire Switch?

For some reason, if I open an N64 rom on RetroArch with mupen64plus_next core, it lags the slows down the switch (Home Menu, closing the app, everything.) Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.

Nevermind, not sure how I actually fixed it, but updating the core worked for some reason.

Now the forwarders stopped working for some reason. The path of the core and the rom are the same as the switch. Compiling the forwarder into an nro gives me the error:

nextNroPath and/or nextArgv not found in Romfs...​

Fixed everything by:

1. Deleting RetroArch
2. Installing it again
3. Repairing my microSD by right clicking on the drive, then click repair
4. Running "chkdsk /f" in the SD Card Directory
5. Download the assets and cores again

This fixed the forwarders and RetroArch for me. For some reason, it corrupted BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle and Smash Ultimate, but I just installed them again like normal.

Yeah. Was thinking of switching back to FAT32.
