Hello,
My problem is that fast forward in Retroarch doesn't work pretty well. So when I use older emulators I can't fast forward as fast as usual. It is also strange that the FPS sometimes fluctuates a lot (in the same screen). Here are a few examples:
[Retroarch version: 1.9.0]
Nes - Nestopia: Super Mario Bros. = [very imprecise, changes very quickly] ~ 110 - 240 (sometimes for a few seconds ~ 1000) FPS
SNES - Super Famicom Accuracy: Super Mario World = ~ 130 FPS
GB - Gearboy: Pokemon Blue = ~ 100 - 170 (sometimes for a few seconds ~ 300) FPS
N64 - Mupen64Plus-Next: Mario 64 = ~ 100 FPS
DS - DeSmuME: Super Mario Bros. DS = ~ 215 FPS
3DS - Citra: Kirby Triple Deluxe = ~ 380 FPS
I don't know why the fast forward function works better in games where more power is needed ... Everything worked before, only now something doesn't seem to work properly anymore ... It can't really be due to my PC either, because he plays the games easily and fast. 2 more things: I can say that I turned off the rewind function and that the fast forward function is set to 10.0x times in the settings. If it is due to the cores, can someone please make suggestions?
Some Note: i installed Retroarch again and tested it with Super Mario Bros. Now on the new Retroarch it was 1500 FPS all the time... I just don't want to lose / exchange my saved and personal files
