Hi,

I am trying to create a forwarder for Retroarch on my Switch.

My Switch is on 20.2.0 and AMS 1.9.2

I used Switch Army Knife 0.7.14
I found prod.keys and title.keys online.

I installed the .nsp created by SAK with DB Installer.

When I launch the RetroArch forwarder, I get this error message: The software was closed because an error occurred.

Retroarch is working fine from the Homebrew launcher.

Thanks for your help.

hi,

you should try with this website

I may be wrong, but it seems SAK uses obsolete exefs files (nro_fw_main and nro_fw_main.npdm), you should try with these ones :

main CRC32: 647681B2 → used by this great tool
main.npdm CRC32: B58F7621

or

(I'm using these ↓ ↓ ↓ with NSP Forwarder master, and I'm able to make HBmenu forwarder compatible with 20+ firmwares)
main CRC32: 6348222D
main.npdm CRC32: B2E61A76

The forwarder crash normally means the loader can’t find the right NRO path or is using an old NROFW binary. Try regenerating the NSP with the newer exefs that support firmware 20+, and double-check that your RetroArch folder name and NRO filename are exact (case-sensitive).

Thank you both.
It worked after I used other forwarder creator tool instead of SAK.

I'm having the same issue. Since updating all my retro arch games have ! on my switch. Do you have to do it for each game from retro arch?
