Homebrew Retroarch 3DS DOSBox keyboard letters keep locking(?)

I’m trying to play Mario’s Game Gallery and whenever I type my name, one of the keys for the buttons keep on going. (Ex; aaaaaaaaaaa)
Basically it does this until it just kinda stops. I’ve been bothered by this and I’m trying to look for settings that’ll turn off the key lock thingy. Can anybody guide or help me?
