I know how I'd get the players of both camps to like a mash-up.

Both camps make games, but put a twist cameo in it. Like interactions with the Star Fox crew on a new Metroid game, or sightings of Samus' ship in a Starfox game, maybe even a secret alternate path in a mission where you get to help Samus out of some sticky situations.

Fans would go crazy over the cameos, and get hyped for a mash-up.

I thought it said "Retro aren't doing Metroid".
Well it won't be Prime if they ever did return, they clearly stated that Prime 3 would be the last one.
It could still have been Other M 2, though.

Other M 2 would be nice. I enjoyed the first one.
:rofl2:

I'm guessing you're in the camp of people that hated Other M? If youhave been reading any of my posts over the past few years I'm sure you would know that I'm just a different breed of gamer. I loved every bit of Other M. It was a refreshing feel after playing Prime 3 whish was another great game.

Ignore people like Hadrian. To them, people aren't allowed to like something they don't like.

Hadrian's response was OK but my original post. ZOMG the typos. I swear, this site is not mobile friendly. Doesn't matter if I'm on the "mobile version or the desktop version with my tab, I cant type for shit on this site :P

WHO ARE YOU YOU DON'T KNOW ME!!!!!!!!

J/K

I respect everyone's opinion. I just find the prospect of a Other M sequel laughable, it has nothing to do with what that person wanted at all and if someone can enjoy that game than at least it wasn't a total waste of Nintendo's time.

A Metroid/Star Fox crossover wouldn't work so well in my opinion.

Now a Metroid/F-Zero crosssover, that's something I'd like to see.

I don't know. I think F-Zero wouldn't be suited for a mash up with Metroid just like Star Fox wouldn't be imo.

Now F-Zero and Star Fox... that would be an interesting cross-over, because both are games series that mostly involve gameplay with vehicles!

But Retro should defintely be givin the chance to do something whole new. Or since they have so much expirience with exploration a new Star Fox Adventure... I loved that game even though it was a little too short. But whatever they'll do I hope it will wow us!

thank fuck!
