Retr0bright alternative ?

I wanna make my DMG GameBoy grey again.
What´s is the easiest and cheapest alternative to Retr0bright ?

Assuming you don't have screen rot making the whole endeavour worthless I quite like the following

peroxide is pretty much the way to go, it's basically what Retr0bright is TBH. There is however, some debate over whether it's the heat or the UV that activates it personally I've found that a combination of the two works for the best. There are a lot of youtube videos on the subject from people like The 8-Bit Guy and RetroManCave. Before you start breaking out the peroxide, you may want to break out a melamine sponge and water and give it a good scrubbing that itself can work wonders
