Hi everyone,

I recently got the family's Wii which was hacked using the Twilight Princess hack a long time ago! I am starting to collect retail games and grow a collection as i enjoy that aspect of gaming. As a child, i was told by my father that the homebrew channel breaks the Gamecube backwards compatibility. Is this true for retail games? And if so, would i be able to restore that functionality? I have looked at Nintendon't but cannot run it as my version of the homebrew channel doesnt support it as its too old. What would be the easiest way to bring back that functionality to the wii!

Thanks in Advance!!!

Do you have a White Wii with the Gamecube ports and memory card slots on top? If so it's b/c and that can't be broken by having the Homebrew channel. OTTH if you don't have those you have a non-b/c Wii and you won't be able to play retail Gamecube games but you can play them from sd card or hard drive.
