Restoring rverse after Pretendo install?

Last time I attempted to remove Pretendo, my 3DS got almost bricked and I do not want this to happen again.
How do you SAFELY restore Rverse?

1. Launch Nimbus and swap back to Nintendo Network
2. Remove the files from the SD card that you placed there during installation
3. Put the rverse files on your SD card

Though it's worth noting that if you're talking about this thread when you say "almost bricked", the main issue there was almost certainly the fact that you were using a Luma version 3 years out of date. You reported using Luma v10.2.1 which released November 16, 2020. The latest release is v13.0.2 which released August 12th, 2023. The Pretendo patches require the latest Luma version, which is specifically mentioned in the setup docs and is likely the reason you had issues to begin with
