Hi,

My apologies if this has been answered somewhere else but I backed up my Nand when I first exploited my console, I was on firmware 5.1.0. Now I'm on 9.1.0 and have updated through the official software update blowing my efuses.

If I restored my old backup from 5.1.0 would that work or would it brick my console?

I want to restore it because my console isn't banned and I exploited it before emmuNand was released. Now I want to restore my backup and switch to emmuNand.

Would much appreciate any insight on this.

You can boot an old backup with different fuse count, after restoring the old nand backup boot your switch from hekate or sx loader(no need to pay for stock sysnand) and update to a fw version matching your fuse count via choidujoirNX or officially(not recommended).

Thanks for the quick response guys. So I will try that with choidujoirNX. If I end up not in a position where I can use the backup nand would my best option be to make a new nand backup, use Haku33 to clean the nand, install emmuNand and reconnect to Nintendo's servers on the physical nand with stock firmware and hope I don't get banned?

If you didn't connect your tainted nand to Nintendo servers I don't know if its worth cleaning the nand just for homebrew launcher and choidujournx.

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
