Hacking Restore deleted files from EDEV switch eMMC

I've got a 64gb nand backup from an edev switch, I have all the keys etc.
This switch was formatted to factory settings which deleted any and all files on it, it has not been written to since.
I would like to have a go at restoring any deleted files or apps like devmenu to the system, any ideas on how best to achieve this?
The switch is currently on firmware 9.1.0

Instead of mounting the emummc, you can mount that nand backup you made.
Do make a backup of the backup to be safe.
I think there was some information on the internetz about which ticketid was which tool.

Thanks for this, seems like this is a good place to go. Not sure if it will recover deleted files though, going to work through it and see where I get.

Making progress slowly with this.
What file recovery software is recommended to retrieve files from the mounted partition, are there any free ones available.
Also will the devmenu be located in the system or user partition?
