Hacking Restarted wii while playing gamecube game need help

I don't know what happened i was playing gamecube and i restarted my wii when i was done now the sd card does not show up and when i put it in my computer its asking me to format it....
did i just lose all my games and apps?

sounds like something went bad with your SD. I cant say for certain what exactly what though. This is why its important to make regular backups. You can try and use an undelete program such as http://www.piriform.com/recuva not sure how much success you will have though. best of luck
