Resistor cmd (A) solder

Can a resistor be soldered over an old damaged resistor without removing it?
Because I don't have the same form of resistance and I don't do hot air welding.

If it is damaged, then you don't know what it's resistance might be.
I would recommend just removing it.
The form factor doesn't matter.
You can attach 1 side of the resistor directly to the pcb and then run a wire to the other side.
With a very fine tip, this should be doable with a normal soldering iron.

Just did it by hand awhile ago. Took awhile as hands were a little shaky. But it's working now and no more purple screen.

Thank you for the reply, brother. But the problem is not when soldering point a. My problem is changing the resistor, which I do not have the same size.
