Ive been trying to use the Ocarina Code Manager to create a gct file for the game as I have never played it before. Anyway I am using the codes the geckocodes database, maing sure I have found the codes for RE4P08.

I can get as far as adding the game id, code description, codes etc. I then click on "store modifications" then export to gct to my sd card and inserting it back into my wii. However when switch on my wii, select the game then settings, ocarina but theres no codes. I cannot download them using the code download option on usbloader gx as it comes back as cannot find codes. What have I done wrong??? First time I have ever used the Ocarina code manager and its also been a while since I switched on the wii. Any help or advice with this will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.

I wasnt quite sure which sub forum I should have posted this in, so if its in the wrong sub forum, would an admin please move it to the correct forum and advise accordingly, thanks

When you create a gct file it doesn't show up in the USB Loader GX, it only show the txt file that contains the codes. To do that you need store the
RE4P08.txt then open it with USB Loader GX, then create the gct.

In USB Loader GX (ULGX for short) you need setup the path for your txt codes in path options under ULGX, for example SD:/txtcodes the same for gct SD:/codes.
The format is game_id.txt, in your case RBHP08.txt, then go to ocarina options under ULGX, the codes should be listed there, select the ones you want, press create and you are done :)

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
