Homebrew Reset vWii Mii Channel

Hello!

I know nothing about modding/HomeBrew but I ended up buying a system reset Wii U that once had HackMii installed. Now my Mii Channel doesnt work and I'm trying to fix it. I've already downloaded a copy of the Wii Mii Channel, is there a specific place in the directory that the file needs to go? I'd rather not install any additional softwares, as I don't know how any of them work. I just want my Mii Channel back.

You can get the Mii Channel with the NUSdownloader.
Before you can do a Restore on the vWii with that (needs an WAD Manager like WiiMOD Lite or YAWMM)
you need the Homebrew Channel or a Methos to run Homebrew on your vWii.

You can

- Use the browserhax Methode to got into the Homebrew Launcher
(CFW Methode without modding the Wii U)
- Then you can use the wuphax Method and the MiiChannel to restore it.

- Mod your Wii U first (with Tiramisu for Example)
- Then you can use the wuphax Method and the MiiChannel to restore it.

- Without modding the Wii U - Run an Exploit via Save Game Exploit on the vWii
(BatHAXX for Example - needs Game / the Save Game on an SD Card)

Maybe there are more Methods,butunfortunately I do not know more.
Maybe some of our Wii U / vWii Experts knows more Methods.

Okay how do I install something once Homebrew in on there? I replicated the steps I believe my vWii was originally modified with, (Wiibrew's Hackmii, which requires a special boot) but all I get when I try to launch the Mii Channel and activate the backup is a "This Software must not be sold" screen and a remote that instantly de-syncs with my console. My Homebrew is just a screen with bubbles and a lizard icon.

the save game exploit and game is how I installed the hbc on my vwii. it was with super smash bros brawl (still have it actually). however, I think you can now use wuphax, so there's no need for a game anymore.

Yes, wuphax was the method originally used. (I wanted to try with my copy of Twilight Princess but research seems to say it's flaw was fixed)

It just seems to not launch my Mii Channel, named 'wuphaxBackup.app'
