Homebrew Reset in mgba

Hello, I was resetting my game to get a shiny Deoxys in Pokémon Leaf Green but after 10 resets, the software freezes and I have to power off my 3ds to reset 10 times again...
Is there any fix ?

I think resetting over and over is probably too tasking on the 3DS, the 3DS struggles with GBA emulation as it is.
If you have access to a PC (or anything capable of emulating the GBA better than a 3DS, such as a phone, Wii, etc.), I'd try transferring the save to it, reset cycling on that, and then transferring the save back to your 3DS for mGBA. That's probably your best bet.
