My 3DS's screen broke, I can't see half of it. I haven't really gotten much help, and I can't get past this point: https://3ds.guide/dsiware-downgrade-(app-injection-and-second-3ds) (Section III)
The only way I can progress is a video or ample screenshots of the GodMode9 (latest commit) menus. I want to downgrade before Christmas, and I need help. I would greatly appreciate it.

Actually yes, as if you get another 3ds, you can mod it on any firmware and keep your save data. Try shining a flashlight on the broken part, i heard sometimes that fixes it. Otherwise, you might be able to just figure out what to do from the plailect guide, as you never really need the top screen over the bottom screen.
Anyway, you say you're stuck. Elaborate. What step? What error? What's happening? Also whether it is a n3ds or o3ds and your firmware would be greatly appreciated.

Direct sunlight works as well. It causes the liquid crystal leaking out of the crack to fade a lot for quite a few hours, but the console also has to be facing sunlight for an hour or so.

Uhh... are you sure it'll fix this?
