The savedata appears to have been encrypted. How did you extract the savedata?
There is a cheat-tool for the PC that accesses the RAM with which you can manipulate values in the game.

I think you're in the wrong thread.

Edit: You're not, I'll try it out.

Edit2: I won't be testing. Seems as though you need to reinstall NSPs with this method in order to launch them in Hekate environment. Too much hassle at this point.

I agree, too much hassle for me too.

If anyone with the skills wants to take a look though, attached are 2 save games of mine, extracted with Checkpoint. One before and one after I sold an item, changing my cash $ amount. Also included are screenshots of the before and after cash $ amounts. Good luck!

Edit:

OK, try these out. It's one male char and one female with only money maxed. The SP mod would have been too much leveling, the addresses are dynamic.

If someone is willing to send these characters back with 4 skill points, I'll do the rest. No I will not mod your personal saves.

So I got as far as adding the kip module to my SD and launching hekate (without layered fs as per the github instructions) but I hit 2 snags. First my game wouldn't run, because it wasn't sig patched i guess? And second when I tried nc 192.168.xxx.xxx 5555 in terminal I got a host not found error. Any advice @Gootah?

Edit. Got netcheat working, now working on re-installing the game using tinfoil/devmenu to see if it launches....

Edit 2. Got it all working. The fresh install went fine and I was able to find and increase money, skill points, XP. When you edit XP you need to kill a monster afterwards for the new XP to be incorporated, until you do it just stays yellow (pending) on the XP bar at the bottom.

Did you edit the charslot file with a hex editor ? Can you tell me the offset ?
